Data privacy information for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Google Ireland Limited Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4 (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are deposited on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile assessments of the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator associated with website usage and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google. Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website also uses Google Conversion Tracking. Google Ads places a cookie on the device of the user if they reached our website through a Google advertisement. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve the purpose of personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the website of the Ads customer and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can identify that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page. Every Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked through the webpages of Ads customers. The information collected with the help of the Conversion cookies serve the purpose of compiling Conversion statistics for Ads customers who have chosen Conversion Tracking. The Ads customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were forwarded to a page featuring a Conversion Tracking Tag. However, they do not receive information that allows users to be personally identified. If the visitor does not wish to participate in the tracking procedure, they can decline the depositing of the necessary cookie - for example through a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic placement of cookies. The visitor can also deactivate cookies for Conversion tracing by setting the browser so that cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices” are blocked.

Google’s data privacy regulations on Conversion Tracking can be viewed here. Google processes data from you also in the USA. We would like to point out that in the opinion of the European Court of Justice, there is currently no appropriate protection standard for data transfer to the USA. This can be associated with various risks regarding the legitimacy and security of the data processing.
